Lake House – Enjoying the Lake Michigan Views

The outdoor spaces, which will serve as gathering places for family and friends, were designed with the views of Lake Michigan as the focus. Comfort and durability were also major factors with teak and all weather wicker furniture and indoor-outdoor fabrics being selected for the porch and decks. Weather proof roll-up blinds protect the porch in inclement weather.

In 2011, we sold our cottage up North and bought a Lake House in Saugatuck, Michigan – to have a vacation home closer to our daughter and her family. This was the biggest project yet. A complete renovation from refinishing floors to another kitchen renovation, to wall treatments, lighting, paint, wallpaper, window treatments, rugs and furniture. I met with Gail at the house the first time and I was overwhelmed at how to make it ours. Gail, of course, was up to the challenge. This is the most beautiful, interesting, fun and comfortable home that we could imagine.

It's an oasis of beauty... complete with functional enjoyment. Can't wait to go back...hate to leave!
